1958: Cindy Church is born in Bible Hill, NS.

1960: Brad Kilburn, bassist for Brandon Wolf is born in Calgary.

1974: Justin Paige releases his first single, "Who's Been Messing With Sally?"

1974: Ray Materick releases his sophomore album, NEON RAIN, as well as its first single, "Linda Put The Coffee On."

1976: Rush play the first of three nights in Toronto at Massey Hall. The taping becomes part of ALL THE WORLD'S A STAGE.

1977: Creed is in Belleville, Ontario at the Sun Valley Motor Inn for the fifth of a six-night run.

1977: Chilliwack peaks at #142 on Billboard's albums chart with DREAMS DREAMS DREAMS.

1980: Rush is in Glasgow, Scotland for the second night at The Apollo. It's taped and becomes part of the EXIT STAGE LEFT album.

1982: Anvil and Goddo are in St Catharines, Ontario for a show at Garden City Arena.

1983: The Viletones are at Larry's Hideaway in Toronto. The show becomes their SATURDAY NIGHT, SUNDAY MORNING album.

1983: Paul Anka is on Solid Gold, where he lip synchs "Hold Me 'Til The Morning Comes."

1983: Blue Peter is in Toronto for a show at The Village Pump.

1985: Marianas Trench frontman Josh Ramsay is born in Vancouver.

1987: Anvil's STRENGTH OF STEEL album is their first for new label Metal Blade Records, and peaks on the Billboard chart at #191. It's their only record to make the top 200.

1989: Around 8,000 people show up for a free concert on the banks of the Oldman River in southern Alberta to protest the construction of a dam. Among the performers are Ian Tyson, Gordon Lightfoot, and Murray McLauchlan.

1991: Chrissy Steele is in New York for a show at Cat Club.

1991: Brian Greenway performs a show at the Fuzzy Pub in Laval, QB. The show is taped for a television special called "Brian Greenway & Friends." The friends include April Wine & Mashmakhan-mate Jerry Mercer, Jeff Nystrom from Kick Axe and others.

1993: Harem Scarem releases their sophomore album, MOOD SWINGS.

1993: Northern Pikes are in Toronto for a show at The Music Hall. It's taped and winds up as part of their live GIG album later that year.

2000: Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush are in Norje Havsbad for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2002: The Tragically Hip release their IN VIOLET LIGHT album.

2002: Michelle Wright is in Zambia, filming a documentary for World Vision.

2002: Corb Lund releases his FIVE DOLLAR BILL album.

2002: Bryan Adams releases the single, "Here I Am."

2004: Coney Hatch and Pat Travers are on the bill at the Sweden Rock Festival, in Norje, Blekinge County.

2005: Kim Mitchell is in Norje Havsbad for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2010: Duane Steele is in Red Deer, Alberta for the second of a two night run at The Matchbox.

2011: It was supposed to be a full reunion, but tonite in Manchester, Tennessee at the Bonaroo Music Festival is the last show for a reformed Buffalo Springfield.

Neil Young decides he's tired of living in the past after seven shows in 11 days.

2011: Lee Aaron is in Solvesborg, Sweden for the Sweden Rock Festival.

2013: Taking a break from Road Hammers, Clayton Bellamy releases his FIVE CROW SILVER album.

2013: Kingdoom is in Gatineau, Quebec for a show at Le Salle Jean Desperez.

2016: Headstones and The Watchmen are in Burlington, Ontario for the Sound of Music Festival. Special guest DJs also include Alexisonfire members Wade MacNeil and George Petit.

2016: Kim Mitchell is in Rama, Ontario for a show at Casino Rama.
